Ken Bowen … Photographer
Born in the gold mining town of Zeballos on Northern Vancouver Island, Ken learned to appreciate nature at an early age. Now based in Honeymoon Bay, Ken hopes his own window into the natural world will help promote an appreciation for wild animals and the need for conservation of habitat.

Ken’s career as a photographer spans three decades and includes publications in magazines, coffee table books, wildlife viewing guides, encyclopedias, habitat conservation brochures, forestry and environmental pamphlets and park posters.



Neil Fatin …Photographer
Born in Norseman, Western Australia, Neil now makes his home in Youbou. Neil’s interest in photography has been as a hobby for 40 years; becoming a more serious past-time in recent years.

The Sidney Fine Art Show 2006 was the first event that he had entered any of his work for adjudication or showing in Canada. Since broadening his photography to include photographic art, Neil has entered works in both media with success in the Sooke Fine Arts Show, the Cowichan Valley Arts Council Showcase of Arts, the Ladysmith Fine Arts Show, Click 07, Click 08 and the Nanaimo Fine Art Show.

Cim McDonald … Painter and Photographer

Born in Androssan, Scotland, Cim now makes her home in Chemainus on Vancouver Island. Her paintings can be found with her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth, the former Lieutenant Governor of BC, Iona Campagnolo and in corporate collections including Rivtow Marine, Fletcher Challenge Canada, IBM and Domtar.

Cim’s photographic excellence has earned her the role of official photographer of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club’s annual regatta. She has been awarded the CPA Silver Medal 2001, CAPA Honourable Mention 2003, Salt Chucker Magazine Award and several Cowichan Valley Arts Council awards.

Sharon Tenenbaum ... Photographer
As a Photographer, Tenenbaum is an entirely self-taught artist, having learned her craft through personal research and practical experience behind the camera. Sharon has chosen to combine her engineering side with her artistic side to create a “Bridges” Portfolio. Although an emerging artist, in a relative short period she has managed to define an artistic direction and distinctive style in her work, acquiring international recognition in the process. Some of her achievements are a first place award in the 2008 International Photography Awards for her Capilano Suspension Bridge and a recent publication in National Geographic. Read More ...
